From the joys of love from La Traviata, the pains of distrust in the Marriage of Figaro to the bravado of The Pirates of Penzance, this talented and enthusiastic group made the rafters ring in St. Mark's Church last night.Passers-by who have heard the Encore Opera Group practising in the Church on Wednesday evenings had a chance to see the real thing, and very uplifting it was. What's more £445.60 was raised for the church boiler appeal.
