Ten tips for Natland Gardens Open Day on 17th July

1. Buy your admission programme a week in advance from Natland or Oxenholme Post Offices and save a pound per person
2. Buy your programme a week in advance on line at http://www.trybooking.co.uk/407 and save yourself money and a walk to the Post Office
3. Wear your sun cream, we have ordered a fine sunny day.
4. Start your afternoon in Oxenholme. Drive to High Park Barn (through the stone gates at entrance to Oxenholme Station, full directions in programme and plenty of parking) next visit two gardens at 3 and 16 Fell Close. Buy your programmes on the day at these gardens in Oxenholme. Then come down to Natland and park your car on Longmeadow and walk round the other gardens
5. Ask for help from the stewards who will be at the church to sell programmes as to how to plan your walk around the village
6. Stop for an ice cream with Elspeth and Martin at 12 Longmeadow
7. Buy a raffle ticket from Cherrie and Mike at 2 Church View
8. Chat to the garden owners, they have worked very hard and want to tell you about their gardens
9. Don’t think you have to “do” every garden – we have 19 so that is quite a lot to get around -
enjoy as many as you can manage
10. Have a well earned mid afternoon break with tea and cake at the village hall
