I am writing to thank you on behalf of Age UK South Lakeland for supporting the coffee morning held at St Mark’s Church today. We raised an amazing £140!!
The advantage of being a local charity is that any money donated such as this will benefit the local community and I will ensure that the money is spent wisely. It will be used to cover costs on some social activities in Natland which would otherwise not be financially viable.
The activities we organise, encourage social interaction between older people who might otherwise find themselves isolated. They can also help address issues such as confidence and independence.
So thank you once again, we really appreciate your generosity.
