Thank you to Natland and Oxenholme's Gardeners and Visitors

The Open Gardens event was a great success. The sun shone just the right amount, gardens sparkled, and all the people who tried gamely to go round as many gardens as possible stayed cheerful to the end.
Collin Mansfield writes: On behalf of St. Mark's Church and the Village Hall Committee I would like thank everyone for making the Garden Open Day such a success.
The total raised for St Mark's was approx £2,000.00 net of expenses and for the Village Hall £326.00. I estimate we had over 200 visitors. The most to any individual garden seems to have been about 180. Our sponsors gave us £225.00, programme sales exceeded £1000.00 and plant and produce sales, the raffle and ice cream sales made up the rest.
If you would care to send in any photos to the website, I would be glad to post them here.
