Cloud inversion from Helm looking towards Benson Knott.

I took the attached photos on Sunday morning about 8am. There was thick mist from valley level but it was clear on the summit of Helm.
The sun was level and behind me projecting my shadow on to the mist opposite, creating this Brocken spectre.  The other two images show the mist hanging below the ridge at the Station Inn end of the Helm.                                                           John Dobson
