Cumbria Highways are closing a short section of road in the village from Monday (28 July) for up to a maximum of 5 days for urgent waterworks. The closure is the 50m between the post office and the turning to the village hall, at the bottom end of Oxenholme Lane and should be clearly signed. Pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed through.
