Art Exhibition in the Village Hall
Calling all artists.

The Village Hall Management Committee invite you to enter paintings in the Art Exhibition to be held in Natland and Oxenholme Village Hall on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March 2018. This annual event is held to showcase local talent and also raise money for hall funds.
The closing date for receipt of entry forms is Monday 25th February, and individual artists may enter up to 4 paintings for sale in the exhibition.
Full details of how to enter and entry forms can be found here: Entry Form pdf, Entry Form in Word, Information Sheet. Entry forms are available either as a PDF, or a Word document which can be edited and returned by email.
The exhibition will be open to the public on the Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday from 11.30am to 4pm. Tea/coffee and home-made cakes will be on sale in the small hall.

December was mild but wetter than average : no White Christmas again! Due to the dry, hot spell in the summer, the annual rainfall was 52.7 ins which is a bit lower than the average of 56ins. It was certainly better than 2017 when we had 64ins of rain. John Dobson.
