Coronation Celebrations

 At the moment we have the seed of an idea to join in the ‘Coronation Big Lunch’ on Sunday 7th May at 12 noon along with many other communities across the nation. 

The plan is to bring your picnic and picnic chairs (and table if you have one). We’ll be celebrating on the Village Green unless the weather isn’t picnic friendly in which case we’ll celebrate in the Village Hall.

There’ll be a crown competition, royal themed quizzes, games, spot prizes for best decorated table etc. etc.

If you would like to help to organise this event we’d be very pleased to hear from you.

Village Hall Availability and Groups currently using it.

 Availability

• Currently there is availability on a regular basis in both large and small halls each weekday morning and on Thursday & Friday afternoons.  In addition the large hall is available on Friday evenings, and the small hall on most Monday & Friday evenings.  

From September until April, regular activity groups currently make substantial weekday use of the premises during other afternoons and evenings.  So from April until August there is additional scope for weekday bookings.

• On Saturday late afternoon & evening and on Sundays the hall is available for hire to community groups or for private functions.
