After a cold spell including heavy snow up to the 7th December, we had rain every day to the end of the year. The monthly rainfall was the fifth highest I have recorded but could not compare with 554mm for December 2015.
The Annual rainfall was 1883mm (75 ins.) which is the most I have recorded since my records began in 2004. The average annual rainfall is approx. 60 ins. John Dobson.
