New Parish Directory out now...
The consultation period of the Parish Plan revealed that there were lots of people in the parish who didn’t know about certain aspects of our parish life, such as this website, and who said they would have liked some information through their doors when they first arrived here. As a result, one of the actions in the Parish Plan was to update and expand the old Parish Directory. Some of the information in the directory will go out of date quickly but the directory does point people to this website, which the website team do a great job of updating, and also gives lots of contact details for people to find out more.
If you live in the parish you should already have a copy of the directory. (We are trying to spot new arrivals and make sure a copy is delivered as soon as possible.) If you don’t, and would still like to know more about Natland, you can download a copy by clicking on the link below. This also means you can access the information when you’re away from home or print the directory out at a larger size. There is a small stock of spare directories at the village shop, too.
(This version is arranged in single pages – if you print-to-fit to an A4 printer, this will produce pages which are 40% bigger than the printed version.)

Parish Plan launched – now the real work starts...
Thank you to everyone who made the launch of the Parish Plan on Saturday 1 February such a success. About 60 people packed into the smaller room at the Village Hall despite the terrible weather to read our display on how the Plan has developed, what the Parish Council is committed to doing and how we plan to go about it - and to hear Parish Council Chair David Peters and NPP Steering Group Chair Marisa Wray give a brief overview. It was great to have such a good turnout and only take a small proportion of our baking efforts back home with us afterwards.
You can volunteer at any time to be on one of the new working groups which will be set up after the Annual Parish May. Please email lois.sparling@gmail.com to make sure that you are on the list for Broadband, Community Energy or Traffic & Footpaths groups or a small group looking at the possibility of having an Interpretative Panel in the village centre. You can also email us to put your name down if you might be available to volunteer in some way within the Parish. Visit the Volunteer! page on this website to find out more.
