Music at St. Mark's

The new Trumpet stop on the organ of St Mark's was heard for the first time on Easter Sunday. Although further work has still to be carried out to fully complete the installation, the new stop has added more power to the organ and was heard to great effect in the rousing Easter hymns and final voluntary.

The Herdwyck Consort will be singing English and Spanish music next Saturday, the 30th April, in the church at 7.30pm. The programme is entitled "A Right Royal Renaissance" and the tickets are £7, under 16s free.
