Phew - what a scorcher (to use a tabloid newspaper headline)!
We had temperatures over 20c nearly every day until near the end of the month. Several days were over 25c and we got to 30c on the 21st July. There was a dry spell lasting over 2 weeks.
Is that it for the summer? August is usually very wet here.               John Dobson.
