Christingles will be outside

When we made our plans for Christmas we made them thinking we could begin to do things more like we used to but unfortunately at the current time this would not be wise.  To that end we are changing the plans for the Christingle Services on Christmas Eve.

There will be two services on Christmas Eve - 2pm and 4pm.  These will now take place outside with the singing of a few carols and a reading of the Christmas story, followed by a Christingle in a bag to take home and make.

Though we don't expect everyone will want to, anyone who wishes to go into church after this short gathering outside, either on their own or with family/friends, to pray or sit a while, can do so.  Music will be playing.

Parish News for December and January

There is plenty to do at St. Mark’s Church as Christmas approaches. Nativity Services are being rehearsed, carols are being practised, and mince pies are being made for the Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday the 11th December at 10am. Then there is something on nearly every day. Click here for all the details

In January new lighting is being installed in the Church, so Sunday 10am services will be held in St. Mark’s Primary School for three Sundays starting from the 9th of January, and the Thursday 10am Communion services will be in the Village Hall.
